Why Counseling?
Am I a therapist? Clinician? What's the difference?
Many different mental health care providers offer therapy services. Counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals (ACA, 2020).
As a licensed professional counselor, I am trained to provide psychotherapy that is grounded in wellness from a developmental perspective, and adhere to strong educational and ethical standards of the counseling profession.
